May the Roots Grow Deep
We are in some remote areas of Ghana, west Africa sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with as many people, and in as many different places, as possible. Thus far (since this past Sunday night) our team has been fortunate enough to share the Gospel in at least 58 different venues to a combined, estimated audience of nearly 9000 people. This is a testimony to the grace of God and the obedience of our partners here in Africa! Thanks be to God for His wonderful provision. Some of the people we have shared with reminded me of the “Parable of...

On This Very Day!
[Asesewa, Ghana] —Often we do not think that “today” is all that important. As we were sharing the gospel in one of the schools this morning, I was taken aback in watching the students who had just prayed to receive Jesus Christ write their names and “this very date” into the front of their new bibles. It was on “this very day” that they realized that their names had been written into the book of life. it was on “this very day” that they had received the assurance that their sins had been forgiven and that they had a home...

Hope Offered … Hope Received
[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vndk_ovKFeo] [Asesewa, Ghana] —This morning three separate teams journeyed out to offer ministry in remote and distant schools. The roads were very rough — almost non-existent and seemingly leading to nowhere, but upon arrival at our various appointed schools we found groups of students and teachers awaiting us. I never cease to be amazed at the marvelous ways God goes before us in preparing the hearts of people to hear the gospel message. In one of the schools I met a young girl named Jewel. She was a gentle spirited girl with a sweet and warm smile. She listened...

Slow, but Sure
[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ktJ9_8Fm_Do] [SHAI HILLS Hotel, Ghana] —The project is off to a slow, but good start. Heavy rains and the recently proclaimed holiday have reduced the number of venues we have been able to conduct thus far. Through Monday noon we have shared in only 4 different settings. On Sunday night our three separate teams shared the Gospel message through the showing of the JESUS film and a message of hope and eternal life. The message is unchanging: Jesus is the ONLY way to heaven! With combined audiences totaling 851 individuals we have witnessed 711 of those indicate first- time...

We Made It!
[Asasehene, Upper Manya Krobo, Ghana] —The road to this project has been exciting! Our team members, coming from various airports around the country, arrived safely at New York’s JFK airport on Friday expecting to make our way to our gate for our international flight to Ghana. This nearly happened as expected. When I attempted to check in, I discovered that I did not have the credit card with which I had paid for my ticket, and wow did this create havoc. As an added layer of security (for my protection) Delta has now decided that you must show the used...

[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8WK_dJvoUFE] The day has finally arrived! Our team of 5 leaves today for two weeks of intense ministry in Ghana. Our Ghanian Team has been working for six months preparing for this ministry endeavor. These men have worked tirelessly, without complaint, under very difficult circumstances. They report many obstacles have been overcome and they are ready for our greatest project ever! During these next two weeks I hope you will remember to pray for our entire team. Joining me will be Jeff Andler, Craig Barker, Mark Chase, and Andy Poe. Pray for our safety, strength, and security. Pray...
