The day began like almost any other. Breakfast at 6:45 then off for school ministries by 7:30. We left the hotel, road down the paved road, and then onto the dirt road. Sunday in Ghana

Good Morning … Asesewa!
[Asesewa, Ghana] —Saturdays are some of my favorite days in Ghana! We awoke this morning to a cooled room and beautiful day. The electricity came back on during the night and both the ceiling fan and A/C had worked to cool this hot place. The morning sky was free of clouds and we enjoyed a late breakfast of scrambled eggs, sausage with vegetables, toast with jam and fresh coffee. What a wonderful way to start the day! It’s Deep, Dark, and Dangerous!
[Asesewa, Ghana] — For the past couple of days we have been experiencing the “normal” life for Ghanians in that the electricity is being cut off by the government controlled power company. Some of this is reported to be the result of a lack of rainfall feeding the Lake Volta reservoir and thus limiting the amount of electric production through the dam, while others are maintaining that Nigeria has cut off the supply of natural gas supplied to Ghana for the power generation plants.
