Wheels Up

This project has been through many struggles on the road to today. The six months since our return from Ghana have presented us with some obstacles and opportunities.

At the conclusion of each project, as we sit in the departure lounge in the Accra airport, our team spends time reflecting on what we have just experienced on the mission and make some initial points about what we need to do differently and better on the next. My friends in the corporate world call this our download meeting which is really the beginning of the next project.

These months of preparation have today set the stage for this present project. Our team has arrived at JFK and are preparing to be wheels up for Ghana. For the next 16 days we will be working alongside some of the greatest people on the planet in doing a single thing. Our mission is to simply share the gospel of Jesus Christ with as many people as God allows. The days will be long, the travel difficult, the evenings a constant challenge, but God will get all the glory.

On behalf of our American team as well as Dr. Samuel Lartey and the other 80 men in Ghana, I want to express my deepest appreciation to you for your faithful support of the preparation. Now the fun begins. Please continue to pray for us, and especially for our families here at home. We will do our best to communicate with you via field updates. It’s time to go, so Wheels Up!
