Pray for Sammy Lartey

This is the verse of scripture that Sammy Lartey says is applicable to his life since our return from the project in Ghana. Immediately upon his return to his home in Tema, Sammy began to experience extreme personal attacks within his family. His eldest son is giving him and his wife intense problems as it relates to his care for his son (Sammy’s grandson).
In an effort to keep some personal things private I will not share the specifics of the situation, but I am comfortable in saying that Sammy needs our prayers. His 8 yr. old grandson is being placed at great risk by some decisions that are being made by his biological father (Sammy’s son). Pastor Sammy and his dear wife Bea have been providing care and family for the boy since his birth and now have been stripped of this responsibility. Things are not good. He is hurting deeply. Here are the words of his text message today …
“After a successful Project, this is the Devil’s way of buffeting me. (2nd Cor. 12:7-10, Matt. 10:35-36.) I’ve decided to leave home for a place to seek God’s direction. Dear Brother if you’ve ever prayed for me, then this is the time, for I can hardly pray. My home is no longer home to me without my Beloved Gabriel and mother. I can’t even eat well. Simon said you’ve asked him to be by me. Thanks.”
I am doing all I know to do, so I have come beside Sammy and Bea, and have assured them that you are praying for them. Please keep these dear people in your prayers and ask that God be glorified through all of this.
