Last Day in Dodowa
[DODOWA, GHANA] We are nearing the end of our first week of the project in Ghana. This has been an unusually uneventful week of ministry from a human standpoint. Our vehicles have operated well, the roads have been good, the hotel has been exceptional, and the ministry has been incredible. All of this is a testimony to the greatness of God!
It is obvious to each of us that you have been praying and for this we are grateful. Day by day Jeff and I travel out to schools where are able to share the straightforward gospel message – often in English (without the aid of a translator) which makes our task more enjoyable. Each evening both Andy Poe and James McLean are going out to conduct crusades where the JESUS film is shown and then a simple Gospel message is presented to the crowds. Altogether our teams have shared in 52 separate venues to total estimated crowds in excess of 13,000 and we have seen over 8,500 indicated positive responses to the Gospel.
Tomorrow, we leave Dodowa for Abonse for our next week of ministry. On Saturday morning we will be conducting a Pastors Conference in Kpong for all of our pastors/evangelists here in Ghana. These conferences are always a highlight of the project for many who are able to give us reports of all that God is doing in the various places of service around the country.
Please pray for our safe travel each day and night – especially on Friday as we journey over some difficult roads. Thank you again for all that you are doing to enable us to “Go into all the world … and preach the Gospel!”
