It’s Over … but it’s Not

“God causes all things to work together for good … –Romans 8:28

[Friday, 02 March 2018– Accra, Ghana] The American’s have finished our immediate work on this project on Friday morning.  Our caravan departed Awudome before 0830 and began our journey back to Accra.  The route was slow, dusty, and deliberate.

We stopped in Kpong to visit the office of our Ghanaian director, Rev. Sammy Lartey, who has done an outstanding job in teaching and training his leadership team here in Ghana.  As always, the measure of the success of a genuine leader is seen in the lives and leadership of those who follow him.  I must say that much of what I have imparted to him is due to those who have some wonderfully invested in me through the years!

I am grateful for my dad, Jeff Andler, Mark Corts, Mark Kearney, Rick Ruby, David Russell and so many others who have taught me about genuine leadership.  While I did not always show these men the appreciation they deserved, I am indebted to them all.

The work of the ministry here continues.  This project allowed us to speak in 147 venues to a combined group in excess of 38,000!  These numbers represent individuals who are now the responsibility and reason for GEM’s continuation.  Please remember to pray for the churches here who have a great opportunity.

We have recently learned that weather in the USA is questioning our scheduled flights home on Saturday, but we are trusting God for His perfect timing.  I am looking forward to sharing with you through a blog soon.
