Gearing Up For Ghana

In 23 days our team of 5 will board airplanes and set out for Ghana, West Africa for our first international ministry project of 2017. It’s hard to believe that this will be our 34th trip to this country!

Joining me on this project will be Jeff Andler, Mark Chase, David Ney, and Andy Poe, all ministry veterans with many years of experience. I am humbled and honored to have these great partners in the Gospel participating in this work.

I spoke this morning with our coordinating council in Ghana and they assured me that all the months of preparation will yield many opportunities for us to share the gospel of Jesus Christ will a great number of people. While we are able share in the victories while in Ghana, we must never forget that the real work is done by the faithful brothers and sisters in country. They have traveled hundreds of miles, labored countless hours, met with many, many local Christian leaders to establish schedules for us to minister in schools, orphanages, and villages with people who have never heard a clear, concise, and consistent Gospel message before.

Please remember to pray for this project. Plead for God’s provision, protection, power, and purpose on all that we will attempt. The areas into which we will be traveling are places we have never been before. Our team on the ground continually tell us that we will be “deep in the forest” and we should be prepared for more difficult conditions than we have previously experienced. With this in mind, we are counting on you to keep us before the Lord’s throne of grace.

Once we arrive on the field we will make every effort to keep you up-to-date on the happenings during the project through blogs, tweets, and videos.

On behalf of everyone involved in this project, I want to express our gratitude to you.

Blessings,
Roy Mason
