It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year. Wonderful not because of the holiday lights Christmas trees, or tinsel. Wonderful because it is perhaps the only time of the year that nearly all the peoples of the world give attention to the things of God –even if they do so ignorantly. They see stars, lights, tinsel, trees, etc. All of which point to Jesus Christ!

Christmas affords all Believers with the easy opportunity to share with everyone the Gospel of Jesus. Think about it. This is the most natural time of all to speak to friends and strangers alike with a happy greeting. From store clerks, grocery baggers, taxi drivers, airport attendants, to neighbors and friends — the world almost expects to hear a word of greeting from each other during these days. Why not use this opportunity to greet them in the name of the Lord Jesus?

This is the perfect time for you to share with everyone you see a word of faith and encouragement. Give them a candy cane along with a reminder of the Gospel message contained therein. It’s easy and people will listen. I promise.

Remember Advent and Christmas are a time of celebration. Advent looks back on all that God has done but it also looks forward to what He is going to do. It reminds us that Jesus has come to earth and is coming again. Don’t miss the opportunity to tell others what Jesus has done in you and what He will do in them. Yep, this is the most wonderful time of the year!
